Pinot grigio ‘Hill’ white wine, 750 ml
Grape variety: Pinot Grigio
The vineyards of the ‘Hill’ Pinot Grigio are situated on a 50 m high hill south of Magrè. The soil is an accumulation of grey, loamy sand with a high clay content. The Mediterranean climate is characterised by warm summers and mild winters and by the warm south wind Ora from Lake Garda in the afternoon. The grapes are harvested by hand. The clarified must then ferments for approx. 3 weeks in steel tanks. Before bottling, the young wine matures for another 5 months on the fine lees.
Colour: intense straw yellow
Smell: dried apricot, pink grapefruit, nuances of thyme
Taste: compact, harmonious, with a fine acid structure
