South Tyrol ‘Santer Schüttelbrot’ handmade crispy rye flat-bread, 200 g

Schüttelbrot is a crispy flatbread made from rye flour, water, yeast, and salt, sometimes seasoned with spices, and is widely popular in South Tyrol. This type of bread, which is primarily eaten as a snack with speck and cheese, gets its name from its preparation method. The flatbread is shaken until it takes on its flat, round shape. What makes Schnalser Schüttelbrot special is that it is shaken by hand, making it thinner and finer. Santer Schüttelbrot has been awarded GOLD.
