"Käsekreiner" Sausage with cheese, 270 g
Have you ever tried a hearty Käsekrainer? This special boiled sausage is made according to the house's own recipe. Käsekrainer is a lightly smoked boiled sausage with coarse pork meat and 20% cheese (e.g., Emmental) in small cubes. We recommend cooking Käsekrainer for about 10 minutes in 70°C hot water or grilling it, then serving it with ketchup, mustard, and white bread, if desired. Did you know: Käsekrainer was invented by two Upper Austrians: Buchkirchen master butcher Herbert Schuh, in collaboration with Franz Thalhammer, in the late 1960s.
