South Tyrolean Speck burger

Ingredients

for 4 people
4 burger buns
800 g of ground beef shoulder
1 onion
salt
pepper
paprika
50 g breadcrumbs
2 eggs
400 g finely sliced Speck Alto Adige PGI
1 head of lettuce
50 g horseradish
2 tomatoes

Preparation time:45 min.

Preparation

Mix beef together with onion, breadcrumbs, eggs, salt, pepper and paprika before shaping meat into patties. Cook the patties in a pan on both sides, wrap in Speck Alto Adige PGI and then let sit. Cut the burger buns in half and warm on the inside. Spread horseradish on the bun and then overlay with the cooked South Tyrolean Speck burger, tomatoes and lettuce, as well as additional Speck Alto Adige PGI pieces.
