Merlot-Cabernet Riserva ‘Anticus‘ red wine, 750 ml

The vineyards are located around Magrè on a gentle slope between 220 and 350 m above sea level with a south-southeast orientation. The white, deep limestone gravel soil has a well-aerated humus content. The Mediterranean climate is characterised by hot summers and mild winters and by the warm south wind Ora from Lake Garda in the afternoon. The grapes for the ‘Anticus‘ cuvée are harvested by hand. After destemming, the must ferments in steel tanks with gentle maceration, and are then aged for 18 months in barrique barrels and a further year in the bottle.
